Description
This is my first attempt at etching, and problably the last..
It's for a illustration of a story from Roald Dahl, when he flew in WWII. It was fun to do but it's not were my passion lies.
The first one illustrates Greece, were Dahl flew over but, in his words, "was in no mood to admire the grand view of the parthenon or any of the other relics below me".
In the second he's in a dog fight, he explanes how trilling it was..
And in the last etch he has returned safely.

looks like a dogfight over Greece between the British super marine spitfire and German Messerschmitt ME-109, and from the looks, the 109 pilot lost. an excellent work of art!
